Description Condom Campaign Challenges Taboos Taking on taboos, Corporate Voice | Weber Shandwick challenged consumers to say "condoms" freely. "Condom Bindaas Bol" (Hindi for "Say 'condoms' freely"), the campaign's tagline, came in response to research showing that condom use in five Indian states, which account for 45 percent of the market, was steadily declining. This year, USAID project Private Sector Partnership-One, India's ICICI Bank and the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare assigned Corporate Voice Weber Shandwick (CVWS) to help address the root problem—embarrassment to purchase contraceptives at retail outlets. The campaign utilized an assortment of emerging media—from viral videos on YouTube to a virtual presence on popular social-networking service Orkut. But most important to its success was the people. Asia Pacific PR Network of the Year 2006 Weber Shandwick selected studioX Asia to create a showreel video for their award winning Campaign. StudioX met and exceeded the clients expectations on this project under a very tight deadline. http://www.studiox.tv/
