Description Mikey, The Series Episode 7: A World Premiere Tribute: Mr. Crowley Transcribed and Arranged For Church Pipe Organ By Mikey. Ozzy Osbourne, "The King Of Heavy Metal," meets the pipe organ, "The King of Instruments." As a classically trained organist (protégé of the world famous organist Marilyn Mason), Mikey longed to fulfill a dream from the dark recesses of his mind. He was convinced that the 'organ sound' Ozzy Osbourne imitated in the famous opening of his "Mr. Crowley" would scale new heights if it were actually played on a real pipe organ. (The original keyboard instruments used in Ozzy's masterpiece were synthesized electronic instruments.) More information regarding the technical aspects of this process will be available in future special episode. About this recording: This is a two track digital live recording utilizing a pipe organ built by the Casavant Frères company of Quebec, Canada. It was recorded live using a Sony Handycam DVD camcorder. Ozzy Osbourne's original masterpiece was added in post-production using Vegas Video Studio 6.0. Note: Due to YouTube's conversion rendering algorithm there might intermittent volume issues. Best heard loud in earphones.
