Tegucigalpa, Honduras -
Since birth, Valeria has been fighting for her life. The infant, born in Honduras was born with Hirschsprung's disease - a rare congenital abnormality that prevents the colon and intestines from functioning normally. Fortunately a unique string of events occurred that helped Valeria beat the odds.
The First Lady of Honduras in cooperation with Operation Blessing and the Mayo Clinic have helped save the life of this infant.
