Description Out of school youth (OSY), disenfranchised youth, ex-combatants and other vulnerable groups of school age youth ranging in age from 16-25 represent social capital of a great importance for the future of Iraq and, if provided the opportunities, these youth can become active contributors to, both, their own healthy development and to the public revitalization and long-term economic growth of their nation. The Iraq Youth Center Work/Study Program seeks to offer training and skills that will enable youth, male and female, in Iraq to become active participants in the post-war social and economic reconstruction of their country.
